I went to Snow Peak’s new product exhibition for 2023. Their new beginner tent/tarp, the Land Nest, looks comfy!

Snow Peak, a developer, manufacturer, and distributor of outdoor lifestyle products, held the “2023 New Products Show” at Mori Park Outdoor Village on February 4-5. We went to the show to see the new products that are scheduled to be released in 2023 and to imagine the actual camping scene.

The venue, Mori Park Outdoor Village, is an open-air shopping mall with Snow Peak, sporting goods stores, restaurants, a pond, and a climbing wall, and is easily accessible by a 5-minute walk from the north exit of Akishima Station on the JR Ome Line. Both days were blessed with fine weather, and the area was crowded with many Snow Peak product users and others.

Many new products were on display at the exhibition, including the “Land Nest,” an entry-level model for beginner campers; the “Tuga,” a new 2-room shelter that follows in the footsteps of the “Land Rock,” which has remained steadfastly popular with users; and the “Living Shell Ivory,” a “US Ivory model” that has not been released in Japan The exhibition also included the “Living Shell Ivory” model, which has not yet been released in Japan.

The venue also offered training on setting up the new entry model “Land Nest” tarp and tent. A tarp is the living space in a house, and a tent is the bedroom. The most important feature of the Land Nest is that it is easy to set up, even for those who are new to camping, while still having all the specifications of Snow Peak products.

It is also symmetrical and easy to see the front and back, and the framework has been designed without hesitation. And even though it is an entry-level model, the mesh on the tent allows for good ventilation and comfort.

Some of you may have started camping after the Corona disaster. Some of them even say, “Snow Peak taught me how to set up a tent. We are planning to hold exhibitions where you can see Snow Peak’s new products in person on the following dates. Advance registration is required, so please visit the website for details.
