On February 7, JR East announced a system of tiers for JRE POINT, the group’s common point program, based on points earned.
During the six-month period covered by the survey, the initial “Stage 1” will move to “Stage 2” when 300 or more points are earned, “Stage 3” when 3,000 or more points are earned, and “Premium” when 10,000 or more points are earned.
Members who have achieved the Premium Stage for two consecutive terms (12 months) will be given priority to apply for the “TRAIN SUITE Shikijima” cruise train, and will also be eligible to use the “Somewhere in Boon! will be available for two people, whereas normally one person can use it for 6,000 points, and preferential treatment at restaurants directly managed by “JR East Hotels” will be offered.
The application cycle of the stages is twice a year, on April 1 and October 1, with the first year starting on October 1 this time. The eligible aggregation period is from March to August and from September to the following February.
