Relo Hotels & Resorts has begun accepting reservations for plans commemorating the opening of Atara Yoru Nishi-Izu (325 Doi, Izu City, Shizuoka Prefecture), which will rebrand and open on March 3.
The name “Atara-yoru” is derived from the poem “Kare-yoru” (a wonderful night that is sad to dawn) in the Manyoshu (The Anthology of Myriad Leaves). The renewal of the hotel has created 8 new rooms, including a guest room with an open-air bath of over 70 m2, bringing the total number of guest rooms to 30. The new rooms can also be used for group tours.
The restaurant also has a new live kitchen. Guests can enjoy a dinner featuring teppanyaki and tempura. In addition, guests can enjoy a bar, an outdoor rooftop bath with a view, and a footbath surrounded by an open hearth.
The opening commemorative plan offers discounts on half-board and overnight stay plans, starting at 22,000 yen per person for a double occupancy.
