International Emergency Relief Aid for the Damage Caused by the Earthquake in the Republic of Turkey
In response to a request from the government of the Republic of Turkey for assistance for earthquake damage, the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) will provide emergency relief supplies as follows

A major M7.8 earthquake occurred in Turkey and Syria at around 4:17 a.m. on February 6, causing extensive human and property damage in the southeastern part of the country.

Affected people: approx. 13.5 million
