JR Tokai will sell special charms and special red seals in collaboration with Kunouzan Toshogu Shrine, which enshrines Tokugawa Ieyasu, exclusively to EX Service members. The price is 1,850 yen and the period is from March 1 to September 30.
The amulet is said to depict a carving of the sacred animal baku, known as a symbol of peace. The special red seal is a design of the Tokaido Shinkansen bullet train added to the “One Fuji, Two Hawks, Three Eggplants” that Tokugawa Ieyasu is said to have loved. Visitors can also enjoy worshipping in the Gongen-zukuri, all-lacquered, and highly colored shrine pavilions, which are designated as national treasures, and visit the museum, which displays masterpieces related to the Tokugawa family.
