Intermestic, which operates Zoff, will release Zoff DOD on April 28 in collaboration with Beads’ outdoor brand DOD. Prior to this, Zoff official online store and Zoff ZOZOTOWN store have started accepting pre-orders.
The lineup includes 10 types of sunglasses: “Usagurasan” (8,800 yen), sunglasses with a special coloring, and two types of light-controlling sunglasses with color-changing lenses, “Usagurasan with Color-Changing Lenses” (8,800 yen). An original case and eyeglass wipes are also included. A drawstring-type eyeglass wipe is also available exclusively for Web purchasers.
Usagurasan is equipped with lenses that block about 99% of UV rays. The light-colored lenses do not interfere with scenery or facial expressions. In addition to black and beige frames, a DOD-like mushroom pattern and carrot model are also available. The silicone nose pads and face-hugging curve design are designed for scenes where the wearer moves around, such as loading and unloading gear or setting up a tent. The DOD logo on the tips of the temples is made of rubber material to prevent slipping. The message “HAVE A GOOD CAMP,” which expresses the desire for people to enjoy camping, and the “O” logo of DOD will also be designed.
