AEON MALL Makuhari Shintoshin (1-1 Toyosuna, Mihama-ku, Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture, etc.) will undergo store renovation this spring in conjunction with the opening of Makuhari Toyosuna Station on the JR Keiyo Line on March 18.

This year, which marks the 10th anniversary since its opening as the flagship store of Aeon Mall in December 2013, about 120 stores, or one third of the total, will be renovated under the concept of “Let’s keep creating mirai, now miraing! The project will be carried out in phases over a two-year period (spring/autumn of 2023 and spring/autumn of 2024).

With a view to the future of children and the community, the mall will be reborn as an “ethical mall” by introducing lifestyle specialty stores that propose affluent lifestyles, renovating the facility environment to reduce environmental impact, and enhancing the wellness zone that takes into consideration mental and physical health. The company also plans to introduce a new lifestyle specialty store that will offer a rich variety of lifestyle options.
