Emergency Relief Aid for Earthquake Damage in the Republic of Turkey -Delivery of Donated Goods
Emergency relief supplies provided by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) for earthquake damage in southeastern Turkey arrived in Turkey on February 14. After arriving at Adana Airport, the supplies were promptly delivered to the affected areas with the cooperation of the Ministry of Family and Services and the Disaster and Emergency Management Agency of the Ministry of Interior (AFAD).
According to the Turkish government and local reports, as of February 17, 38,044 people have been killed, 108,068 injured, and 216,347 people have been moved out of the affected areas, and this number is expected to increase further. The supplies provided this time are being distributed to the affected people one by one.
