The nine JV companies involved in the Umekita 2nd phase development project announced that the brand of the Umekita 2nd phase development project “Grand Green Osaka” has been decided as “Hotel Hankyu GRAN RESPIRE. The hotel will be named “Hotel Hankyu GRAN RESPIRE OSAKA” and is scheduled to open in the second half of fiscal 2024.

The hotel is an upscale hotel under the Respire brand operated by Hankyu Hanshin Hotels. The hotel will be operated by Hankyu Hanshin Hotels, Inc. and will carry on the concept of “providing quiet healing (REST) and vitality (INSPIRE) for tomorrow,” and will be named “GRAN” in pursuit of higher quality of relaxation.

It is located on the 5th to 28th floors of the south tower and east tower. It will have a total of 482 guest rooms, mostly approximately 23m2.

On the 6th floor, there is a lounge for the exclusive use of guests, where they can spend their time flexibly according to their own style. There will also be a small room for changing clothes and a powder room. The upper floors from 26th to 27th will be designated as club floors, and a lounge on the 27th floor will be available only to club floor guests. In addition, there will be a restaurant, bar, and fitness center.

The interior of the hotel will be decorated with lush greenery based on the design concept of “Natural State,” creating a space where people can feel nature and peace of mind. The hotel will mainly target adult inbound tourists who are accustomed to traveling for sightseeing and leisure, and will provide a high quality of comfort.

Construction work began in December 2020, and development will proceed toward a preliminary opening in the summer of 2024.
