The Japan Bus Association and the Charter Bus Travel Liaison Committee have released new guidelines in response to the government’s March 13 change in mask-wearing rules against the new coronavirus.

The government policy states that “wearing a mask from March 13 is an individual decision,” and recommends wearing a mask when visiting or seeing a doctor at a medical facility or using crowded public transportation, and the new guidelines of each association are also in line with this policy.
