Let’s use ICOCA to visit places along the Kusatsu Line in Shiga Prefecture! Win a “Ninja Train SHINOBI-TRAIN” model and more!

Posted on 2023-03-042023-03-04 by Editor in Chief

The Kusatsu Line Usage Promotion Project, consisting of Shiga Prefecture and six cities and towns along the Kusatsu Line (Kusatsu City, Ritto City, Konan City, Koka City, Hino Town, and Iga City, Mie Prefecture), will hold the “ICOCA Touch! Let’s go on a trip along the Kusatsu Line” from March 1 to 29.

By visiting stations on the JR Kusatsu Line using the ICOCA transportation IC card, visitors can win prizes such as a model train that reproduces the “Ninja Train SHINOBI-TRAIN” that operated on the JR Kusatsu Line until June 2021. There are two entry courses: Course A, in which participants visit all 11 Kusatsu Line stations, and Course B, in which participants can enter the lottery from a single station.
