Saga Prefecture will begin full wrapping of its buses on March 10 for “Romancing Saga 2022,” a collaborative project with Square Enix’s “Saga” game series. In conjunction with this, the bus service, which was scheduled to run until the end of February, will be extended to the end of February 2024.
This is a renewal of the interior of the “SaGa bath bus,” a wrapping bus that operates in Takeo Onsen (Yutoku Bus), Ureshino Onsen (JR Kyushu Bus), and Koyu Onsen (Showa Bus). More than 80 different characters are scattered on the windows, get-off buttons, and suspension straps. In addition, the buses on the Saga Airport route have been updated to play music from the series upon departure and arrival.
