Terakoya, operator of Sumikko Gurashi-do, will open “Kaiun Sumikko Gurashi Iori” on Miyajima Island, Hiroshima Prefecture, on March 31.
Goods and takeout store based on the theme of “Kaiun, Japanese sweets x Sumikko Gurashi”. The goods store offers a variety of items and limited-edition products featuring Miyajima’s famous “momiji” and “shamoji” motifs. As a novelty, a can badge will be given for every 3,000 yen spent on Sumikko Gurashi products.
At the take-out corner, “Furufuru Sumikko Gurashi Yaki”, a baby sponge cake in the shape of Sumikko and her friends sprinkled with strawberry powder and shaken, drinks arranged with Japanese sweets, and souvenir items are available. In addition, for every 1,500 yen spent on Sumikko Gurashi items, a can badge will be given away.
