Ace has released the soft carry-on “Lastly” compatible with domestic coin locker sizes from the Japanese travel bag brand PROTECA. It will be sold at Ace directly-managed stores, online stores, and major department stores nationwide.
The lineup includes two sizes, 19L and 24L, which are convenient for domestic trips and short trips. The 19L size, suitable for day trips to overnight stays, measures 31 x 18 x 47 cm (W x D x H) and weighs 1.8 kg for 35,200 yen, while the 24L size measures 34 x 23 x 48 cm and weighs 1.9 kg for 37,400 yen.
Both sizes are designed to fit in coin-operated lockers with a width of about 35 cm and a depth of about 55-57 cm installed in train stations and other locations, as well as in aircrafts with 100 or more seats. It is available in three colors: black, navy, and glaze.
To allow easy access to luggage while on the move, zipper pockets are placed on the upper and lower front sections, and vertical open pockets are placed on both sides. The main compartment can also be opened and closed with the carry-on upright.
In addition, the originally developed Silent Caster for quiet running noise and the “BEALON Wheel” that minimizes frictional resistance realize smooth running.
In addition to the two-handled handle for use in situations where the carry-on cannot be rolled, such as station stairs and gravel roads, it has a one-touch hook to bring the handle together for quick and easy hand-holding.
