Warner Bros. Studios Japan has set June 16 as the opening date for the Studio Tour Tokyo Making of Harry Potter.
Studio Tour Tokyo is a walk-through facility that allows visitors to experience behind-the-scenes of the Wizarding World series created by J.K. Rowling, including the “Harry Potter” and “Fantastic Beasts” movies.
Preparations are underway to open the facility on the former Toshimaen site, which will cover an area of approximately 90,000 m2, and will include the Hogwarts Express on lines 9 and 3/4 from London to Hogwarts, a moving portrait of Hogwarts Castle, the Great Hall, the Forbidden Forest, Diagon Alley invisible to muggles, and other sets.
Tickets must be fully reserved through the official website and cost 6300 yen for adults, 5200 yen for junior high and high school students, and 3800 yen for elementary school students from 4 years old to elementary school students. Parking is available for 821 vehicles at a cost of 1,800 yen per vehicle (advance reservations required).
Tickets go on sale March 22 at 2pm.
