Yahoo Japan has begun posting information on hanami and cherry blossom blooming on the search results of Yahoo!
When users search for keywords such as “hanami” or “sakura,” timely information on cherry blossom blooms, nationwide rankings of cherry blossom viewing spots, and details of cherry blossom viewing spots are displayed. The site covers approximately 1,000 cherry blossom viewing spots throughout Japan, and information appropriate to the user’s needs will be posted according to the search terms.
Cherry blossom information can be viewed in seven stages: buds, beginning of bloom, fifth bloom, seventh bloom, full bloom, beginning of fall, and end of bloom.
