The Mongolian government had been promoting the elimination of discrimination against persons with disabilities in health care, education, and employment, and the creation of barrier-free public transportation, roads, housing, and public buildings. However, there was insufficient domestic awareness-raising and the establishment of systems to promote the social participation of persons with disabilities. Under these circumstances, the Japanese government supported the establishment of a system to promote the social participation of persons with disabilities through the implementation of Disability Equality Training (DET) and the preparation and publication of the “White Paper on Persons with Disabilities” with the aim of promoting the social participation of persons with disabilities and creating a symbiotic society based on diversity. On the other hand, since there are still many challenges in promoting employment for persons with disabilities, the Labor Law makes it mandatory for some companies to employ persons with disabilities, and the National Employment Commission has been designing a system of specific projects to support the employment of persons with disabilities through the establishment of a program to promote employment for persons with disabilities. However, the promotion of employment has not progressed sufficiently because companies have discrimination and prejudice against people with disabilities as lacking the ability to work, people with disabilities who are willing to work do not have access to information about companies, and many companies do not give reasonable consideration to the employment of people with disabilities or improve the workplace environment. In order to solve these problems, it is necessary to establish a system to promote the working environment for persons with disabilities and to connect persons with disabilities who wish to work with companies while understanding their characteristics, in order to support their promotion and retention in employment.
This cooperation will plan job coach employment support services, and by forming a mechanism for human resource development, preparation of teaching materials/materials, networking, and project implementation, will implement job coach employment support services and contribute to the development of projects related to the promotion of employment of persons with disabilities and the promotion of livelihoods and social participation of persons with disabilities. We will contribute to the development of business related to the promotion of employment of persons with disabilities and the promotion of the livelihood and social participation of persons with disabilities.
