HAC (Hokkaido Air System), based at Sapporo Okadama Airport, celebrated its 25th anniversary on March 28, and on March 29, a commemorative ceremony, a sightseeing flight within Sapporo, and advance sales of original goods were held to mark the 25th anniversary.

At the commemorative ceremony, President Eiji Takemura said, “In 2023, we would like to make Hokkaido even more exciting from the air, overcoming Corona and even more so than before Corona. As the snow melts and the season of fresh greenery becomes more beautiful, I hope that you will take advantage of HAC’s wings to travel to various parts of Hokkaido,” he said in his address. He expressed his gratitude to all those who have supported the airline over the 25 years it has been in service.
In addition to guests of honor, “Snow Miku” and “Tappi,” the mascot character of Sapporo’s Higashi Ward, also came to congratulate the commemorative ceremony.
In addition, the original music to be used in the campaign, which began accepting applications in February, was announced, and HAC’s original Snow Miku merchandise was also unveiled.
After the ceremony, 24 elementary school children and their parents participated in the Sapporo City scenic flight, 12 pairs of children who narrowly passed the 10-fold application limit.
