Maruyama Seimen will install a “Noodle Tours” frozen ramen vending machine in the new passenger terminal building at Aso Kumamoto Airport (1802-2 Oaza Kotani, Mashiki-cho, Kamimashiki-gun, Kumamoto Prefecture), which will have its grand opening on March 23.
Noodle Tours” sells frozen collaborative products using soup made by various ramen stores across Japan and noodles manufactured by Maruyama Seimen. Since the launch of the service in March 2021, the company has partnered with 25 ramen shops, installed 177 locations, and sold more than 500,000 servings. This is the first time that the service has been installed in an airport and the first time that it has entered the Kumamoto market.
Sales hours are from 6:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., and the price is 1000 yen. The products on sale include “Bario Ramen (with special toka),” “Thick Tsujita Tsukemen,” “Shoyu Ramen” and “Back Fat Shoyu Ramen (with extra noodles)” from Tokyo ramen shop Ramen Bario, and “Iekei Ramen” and “Raijin Gyoza (25 pieces)” from Chiba ramen shop Oudouke, under the supervision of Oudouke, and Raijin Gyoza (25 pieces) from Raijin.
