ANA will participate in Pokemon’s “Sora tobu Pikachu Project” and begin operating a specially painted international flight “Pikachu Jet NH” on June 4.
The “Sora tobu Pikachu Project” was born out of the desire to deliver exciting days more joyously colored with Pokémon when many people are able to travel freely again, and to let people once again feel the joy of travel and the pleasure of mobility, while they have been away from the pleasure of mobility. The specially painted aircraft depicts flying Pokémon such as Lizardon, Latias, Latios, and Bibyon, gathered from all over the world and moving toward the light of hope with Pikachu flying in the sky. Pokémon will also be designed on the inside of the engine.
The routes where specially painted aircraft may be deployed between June 4 and October 28 are Haneda-Bangkok, Singapore, Jakarta, Manila, Ho Chi Minh City, Delhi, Sydney, Vancouver, and Honolulu.
In addition, the first original goods, bus ponchos, will go on sale on June 4 for ANA international and domestic passengers through the in-flight duty free sales service and “ANA STORE@SKY”.
On all international and domestic flights, passengers can also enjoy Pokémon-related content such as nursery rhymes and POKETOON on Pokémon Kids TV. The content to be shown on international flights is scheduled to begin in June, and on domestic flights in July, depending on the time of boarding.
