Seibu Railway will change some of its regular 4-car trains on the Ikebukuro and Seibu-Chichibu Lines to 8-car trains in order to provide convenient access and reduce congestion to “Hitsuyama Park Shibazakura-no-oka” (63605 Omiya, Chichibu, Saitama Prefecture) where GW outings and Shibazakura are in full bloom. The period is from April 14 to May 7.
On weekdays, one more down limited express train (from Hanno to Seibu-Chichibu) will operate. On weekends and holidays, one down limited express train will be extended from Hanno to Seibu-Chichibu, and one up limited express train will operate from Seibu-Chichibu instead of starting from Hanno.
During the same period, a campaign for the “Odekake Plus” point service will be held at Yokoze Station and Seibu-Chichibu Station. The campaign offers 10 points to passengers who get off at Yokoze Station, which is the closest station to the Hitsuyozan Park Shibazakura-no-oka, and get on the train at Seibu-Chichibu Station on the same day.
