On April 1, Japan Airport Building began construction at Haneda Airport Terminal 2 to connect the main building with the northern satellite.
The expansion of the facility connecting the main building to the north satellite of Terminal 2, which currently requires access by a dedicated bus, will allow direct access to and from the main building and the north satellite. In addition, three new boarding gates will be built in the extension to allow passengers to board directly from the terminal. The construction is scheduled to last until the end of February 2025, and is expected to be ready for use by spring 2025.
