Karuizawa-Azuma area, “Asamayama Campsite” opening in June with a view of Mt.

Posted on 2023-04-17 by Editor in Chief

Step Out, a merger company of Seibu Landscaping and R.project, will renovate the former “Asama Rokurigahara Resting Area” (1053-4 Kamahara, Tsumagoi-mura, Agatsuma-gun, Gunma Prefecture), an asset owned by the Seibu Group, and open it on June 2 as “Asamayama Campsite” with an attractive view overlooking Asama Mountain. Asama,” will open on June 2.

It offers outdoor experiences such as “geo-glamping,” a combination of geo-camping and glamping, auto-camping, day-camping that can be easily enjoyed without camping equipment, and picnic plans. The facility is also equipped with sites with a dog run for pets, rest areas offering light meals, EV charging stations, and shower rooms. In the Mt. Asama North Foothills Geopark, visitors can enjoy the location with a magnificent view of Mt.

The campground is highly accessible to the Karuizawa area, and is about a 3-minute drive from the Mine-no-chaya toll booth on the Onioji Highway in the direction of Manza. It is said to be an ideal travel route for sightseeing and driving in Onishidashien and Joshinetsu Kogen National Park.

Reservations will be accepted from 10:00 a.m. on April 15 on the campsite reservation website Nappu.
