A number of “Dream Go Round” related events, special menus, and special merchandise have also been introduced at Tokyo DisneySea. Here we would like to introduce you to the newly introduced water-based meet and greet, as well as the gorgeous decorations and photo spots that will be available only for one year.

Tokyo Disney Resort will hold the anniversary event “Dream Go Round” for 352 days from April 15, 2023 to March 31, 2024 to celebrate its 40th anniversary. Tokyo Disneyland as well as the entire Tokyo Disney Resort will be in a gorgeous mood to celebrate this special year.

40th anniversary celebration features popular characters! New and classic waterfront greeting “Let’s Celebrate with Color”

Let’s Celebrate with Color” features popular characters dressed in colorful 40th anniversary costumes and a fun waterfront meet and greet with the 40th anniversary theme song playing in the background. The event will run until March 31, 2024, and will be a regular event for about a year. Bring a flag to wave along with the characters and enjoy the greeting to the fullest.

As the 40th anniversary theme song plays in Mediterranean Harbor, a ship with Mickey Mouse and his friends appears. Mickey Mouse calls out, “Let’s paint the future! and he goes around greeting the guests gathered in the Mediterranean Harbor. The boat circles around the Mediterranean Harbor in a figure eight, pausing at the center of the harbor.

In the center, the characters face the MiraCosta side of Mediterranean Harbor, toward the plaza, so the best place to view them is still the plaza. However, the characters can be seen up close from anywhere in the Harbor, as they make several rounds to all corners of the Mediterranean Harbor.

As the ship comes to a stop in the center of Mediterranean Harbor, Mickey Mouse says, “I think this world shines with the colors that connect us all! I hope it continues to shine with color! And it’s us, yes, all of us, who will paint it,” he said happily.

When the characters are asked, “Hey, what color do you want your future to be?” Goofy says, “I’m the color of adventure! Daisy Duck said, “I am the color of new challenges! Daisy Duck says, “I’m the color of new challenges! and a yellow flag. Daffy and Shellie Mae will hold up a purple flag, saying “The color of friends! and Minnie Mouse holds up a purple flag, “I am the color of love! Minnie Mouse holds up a red flag, saying, “I am the color of love! Minnie Mouse introduced Pluto by saying, “Pluto is the color of bonding! and Pluto raises an orange flag. Finally, Mickey Mouse said, “I am the color of everyone’s dreams! I want to make lots of colors shine and connect them to the future! and raises the flag.

Mickey Mouse asked, “Hey, can you help me?” and Minnie Mouse called out to the guests, “Hold up something colored! Minnie Mouse calls out to the guests, “Hold up something colored! Let’s celebrate Tokyo Disney Resort’s 40th anniversary together by unfurling flags and other colored objects and waving them in rhythm with Mickey Mouse and his friends. The choreography is a repetition of waving and turning the flags left and right, so it can be easily copied on the spot.

As the excitement builds for the finale, colorful flags appear on the ship, making it even more spectacular. The ship will follow the same figure-eight route around the Mediterranean Harbor as it did when it arrived, and the characters will continue to greet the guests.

Mickey Mouse says, “This is how everyone’s colors will lead back to the next future! Now, let’s fly off into the new world!” and finally, “Let’s paint the future! and “Let’s paint the future!

Compared to Tokyo Disneyland, which is the main event of the 40th Anniversary, Tokyo DisneySea does not have many events featuring characters in 40th Anniversary costumes, but this water-based meet-and-greet is a great way to enjoy both the costumes and the music. Although the show is only about 10 minutes long, it is a must-see if you want to enjoy the festive atmosphere of the 40th anniversary.
