JINS opens first coffee shop-integrated store in Fukuoka/Tenjin area in Japan

Posted on 2023-04-24 by Editor in Chief

JINS will simultaneously open JINS Mina Tenjin Store and ONCA COFFEE Mina Tenjin Store in the Tenjin area of Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture, on April 28.

JINS and ONCA COFFEE will be combined for the first time in Japan, with ONCA COFFEE being the company’s newly launched coffee shop and the second store to open in Japan. The store was designed by Tsubame Architects, and the sofas and bookshelves are made of Koishiwara-yaki, a traditional craft of Fukuoka Prefecture that has a different texture and feel to each piece. The shape and pattern of the pottery changes as you approach and step away from it, creating a space where you can discover something new every time you walk in.

To commemorate the opening, from April 28 to May 7, the first 100 customers each day will be able to purchase the “Tenjin Set” for 6,600 yen, which includes a 9,900 yen glasses coupon, a key ring made in collaboration with Fukuoka-based stationery and sundry goods manufacturer “HIGHTIDE,” and an eco-bag. In addition, there will be an opening sale where customers can purchase a complete set of glasses for as low as 4,400 yen, and a campaign where the first 100 customers to bring in a leaflet will receive 5,500 yen for a custom pair of invincible coated lenses free of charge on each day.
