Hoshino Resort will open “OMO3 Asakusa by Hoshino Resort” (1-15-5 Hanakawado, Taito-ku, Tokyo) on July 31.
OMO3 Asakusa is the third hotel in Tokyo, following OMO5 Tokyo Otsuka and OMO3 Tokyo Akasaka, under the OMO brand, which currently has 14 hotels in Japan.
The concept is to offer an experience that allows visitors to enjoy Asakusa to the fullest, just like an Edo child in the old downtown area, in a place filled with old and new attractions and bustling with many tourists, centering on the gate area of Sensoji Temple. The concept is “It’s chic, Asakusa-teki”.
The most distinctive feature is the OMO Base, which is located on the top floor (13th floor) for the first time in OMO’s history. The large floor-to-ceiling glass windows offer a panoramic view of the Sensoji temple grounds to the west and the Tokyo Sky Tree to the east.
The OMO Base also features the OMO Food & Drink Station, a 24-hour self-service food and beverage station, and a map with information about the neighborhood. The views of the city can be enjoyed not only from the OMO Base, but also from all parts of the building.
There are a total of 98 guest rooms. Guests can choose from eight types of rooms according to the purpose of their trip, including the Yose Twin Room, a concept room inspired by Edo period games, and the Deluxe Four-Seater Room, a four-person capacity room suitable for family or group use.
Room rates start at 18,000 yen per night (per room, no meals), and reservations will be accepted from April 18 through the official website.
