Tobu Railway and Tobu Hotel Management are moving forward with plans to renovate the entire Courtyard Marriott Ginza Tobu Hotel (6-14-10 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo), which will open in the fall of 2023.
While maintaining a full-service hotel with lodging, banquet, and restaurant functions, the functions and design will be upgraded in anticipation of inbound demand. The first floor of the hotel will feature an all-day dining room with an open facade, taking advantage of its location facing Showa-dori Avenue. The interior design, air conditioning and water facilities, and room types will be renewed, bringing the total number of guest rooms to 206. Public spaces will also be renovated.
In addition, the hotel will also have a specialty store area with restaurants and other stores that will promote Japanese quality, and a workspace for guests and local businesspeople to use, aiming to create a hotel that people will want to visit casually.
