AirX offers six new courses for helicopter tours from Osaka. Touring the Ancient Capital of Japan including Takeda Castle/Kinkakuji Temple/Heijo-kyo Capital

Posted on 2023-05-01 by Editor in Chief

AirX has launched six new helicopter tour courses to major cities in the Kansai region, departing from and arriving at Yao Airport in Osaka Prefecture, via a special website.

In response to users’ requests to “see not only the Osaka area but also major cities in the Kansai region from the sky by helicopter,” in addition to the previously marketed “Nintoku Tenno Mausoleum Course,” a new daytime course has been added that takes visitors to historic cities such as Kyoto, Nara and Kobe and famous tourist spots including Osaka Castle, Himeji Castle, Takeda Castle and the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge. The new course will be available in the morning and afternoon.

For example, the journey from Osaka to Takeda Castle normally takes about two hours by car or four hours by public transportation, but with the 90-minute “Takeda Castle Course,” visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of the surrounding sights from the sky. The 90-minute “Takeda Castle Course” offers a panoramic view of the surrounding sights from the sky, avoiding traffic congestion and allowing visitors to enjoy sightseeing more efficiently.

The outline of each course is as follows. The hours of operation for each course are from 10:00 to sunset, and each aircraft is chartered (maximum capacity of 3 persons, 220 kg).
