On April 28, the “Dousuru Ieyasu: Shizuoka Taiga Drama Museum” will undergo a partial renewal of its exhibits.
The renewed museum will look back on the relationship between Ieyasu and the Imagawa clan and Sunpu as depicted in previous dramas, and add exhibits unique to Shizuoka City, such as Imagawa-period artifacts found at the Sunpu Castle ruins excavation site.
In conjunction with the renewal, a stamp rally project will also be launched, where visitors who collect all the stamps will receive a limited edition red seal from Shizuoka Sengen Shrine. The rally will be held from April 28 to July 13 at five locations: the Shizuchika Ichicha Tea Shop, the Shizuoka City Museum of History, the Taiga Drama Museum, the Shizooka Gift Shop, the place of Ieyasu’s first love, and Kanbu Shrine (on the grounds of Shizuoka Sengen Shrine).
