Pikachu and his friends see you off at Narita Airport! Pokemon gather in the departure lobbies and access corridors of Terminals 1 and 2

Posted on 2023-05-012023-05-01 by Editor in Chief

Various Pokémon will appear at four locations in the Terminal 1 Departure Lobby on the 4th floor as “Pokémon and See You Off Wall” and wave to travelers. It will be a surprise to see which Pokémon will make an appearance.

NAA (Narita International Airport) will wrap various parts of Narita Airport terminals with Pokémon as part of Pokémon Inc.’s “Sora tobu Pikachu Project,” which supports the aviation and tourism industries by relating them to the world of Pokémon, who enjoy going out and having adventures.

Practice Areas

Terminal 1: May 3, 2023 – April, 2025, 4th floor departure lobby

Terminal 2: April 29, 2023 – April 2025, 3rd floor departure lobby

Terminal 3: April 29, 2023 – April 2025, Access corridor

Many Pikachus will appear at two locations in the Terminal 2 3rd floor departure lobby as “Pikachu’s farewell wall,” waving to travelers. Among them is a hidden Pikachu that brings happiness.

On the first floor of the access corridor connecting Terminals 2 and 3, a “Pokémon and Memories Photo Wall” will feature seasonal Japanese scenery and Pokémon related to the seasons. Among them, six Unowns are hidden.

On the second floor of the access corridor, “Pikachu and the Advancing Wall” is a 150-meter-long corridor decorated with Pokémon, where visitors can enjoy the feeling of walking through the world of Pokémon.
