Asamizu Company released a limited-quantity red seal book (2,640 yen) as the second commemorative product for JR East’s SL Galaxy, which will end regular service in June.
SL Ginga is a sightseeing train that debuted in 2014 and features a pattern of carriages based on the constellations and animals that appear in Kenji Miyazawa’s “Night on the Galactic Railroad.
The back of the red seal book is designed with the flora and fauna depicted on this train, and the head mark is designed on the front. It measures approximately 18 x 12 cm and has 24 folded pages (48 on both sides).
