Vietjet announced that it will launch its first direct flight between Hiroshima and Hanoi (Noi Bai International Airport) on July 19.
The outbound flight is from Hiroshima (9:45) to Hanoi (12:35), and the return flight is from Hanoi (2:15) to Hiroshima (8:45). There will be two flights per week on Wednesdays and Sundays.
The announcement ceremony was attended by Vietjet CEO Dinh Viet Huong, Hiroshima Prefecture Vice Governor Masahiko Tanabe, and Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, who visited Japan on the occasion of the G7 Hiroshima Summit. They expressed their hope that the new route to Vietnam, the first in the Chugoku and Shikoku regions, will enhance convenience and promote mutual exchange in a wide range of areas, including business and tourism.
Details of this route will be announced on the official website as soon as they are finalized.
