In response to the partial road closure due to the replacement of the Metropolitan Expressway Daishi Bridge, highway bus companies operating to and from Haneda Airport have also released their responses. Please check the following information on the buses you normally use.
The period covered by the closure is from 5:00 a.m. on May 27 to 5:00 a.m. on June 10, the same period as the road closure. During this period, heavy traffic congestion is expected, including up to 60 minutes (in the evening) from Kasai JCT to Airport Central Exit, which normally takes 20 minutes.
However, since the bus companies will not compensate for any damage caused by delays due to traffic congestion (e.g., missed flight boarding), it is advisable to consider changing your travel plans, such as traveling much earlier or taking the train.
