On June 1, the Tokyo branch of the Korea Tourism Organization launched a campaign for students to visit Korea.
The first campaign, “First Trip to Korea Spending Money Campaign,” will be held for students who have obtained a new passport in April or later and will be traveling to Korea for the first time (high school students are not eligible). The campaign is open to students who have newly obtained a passport since April and are traveling to Korea for the first time (high school students are not eligible). An image confirming the reservation must be uploaded during the application period.
The second program, “Introduce the charms of Korea to the world! Student Ambassadors” will be recruited in the four categories of food, beauty, entertainment, and tourist attractions. 100,000 won will be allotted for student ambassadors to take on missions in each category and participate in exchange events with local university students, K-POP concerts, and other events. The number of applicants is 50, and applications are accepted from June 1 to 30.
