Typhoon No. 2 cancelled all flights in Okinawa area and closed airports all day. ANA cancelled some flights from Naha on June 2, JAL reopened the counter at 7:00 a.m.

Due to Typhoon No. 2, which is moving northeastward over the sea east of Taiwan, there is a possibility of flight cancellations and delays in air traffic.

ANA, JAL Group, Skymark, Jetstar Japan, Peach Aviation, Solaseed Air, and other airlines serving Okinawa area (Naha, Miyako, Shimojijima, Ishigaki) have decided to cancel all flights on June 1, and all airport terminal buildings will be closed all day.

ANA has cancelled all flights to and from Naha, Miyako, and Ishigaki on June 1, and has decided to cancel some flights to and from Naha by 15:00 on June 2. Some flights will also be cancelled after 3:00 p.m.

JAL likewise cancelled all flights to and from Naha, Miyako, and Ishigaki on June 1. On June 2, the company plans to reopen the counters from 7:00 a.m.

Affected airports are Kikaijima, Amami Oshima, Tokunoshima, Okinoerabu, Yoron, Kita Daito, Minami Daito, Okinawa Naha, Kumejima, Miyako, Tarama, Ishigaki, and Yonaguni (some flights have already been canceled) on the 1st and 2nd, and Kikaijima, Amamiooshima, Tokunoshima, Okinoerabu, Yoron, Kita Daito, Minami Daito, Okinawa Naha, and Kumejima in the morning on the 3rd.

Other airlines serving the Okinawa area have also announced their support (see below).
