Visa Worldwide Japan will launch a campaign offering 50% cash back on fares when using Visa’s touch payment system for public transportation. The campaign is valid from the first flight on June 1 to the last flight on June 20.
The number of Visa touch payment cards issued in Japan has exceeded 100 million, and as of the end of April, there were 42 projects in progress in 26 prefectures in Japan for public transportation. More than 50 public transportation operators are participating in this campaign, offering 50% of the fare (up to 500 yen) as cash back. No pre-entry is required.
