When an Odakyu bus is on a route searched by the user, the system automatically displays information on its proximity, such as “two bus stops ahead” and “one bus stop ahead. Based on the bus location information, the user can check where the delayed bus is currently traveling and how many minutes it is running late compared to normal times.
Tapping the departure time of a search result will display the previous and next schedules, which is useful in situations such as “I don’t know if the bus I am going to take has departed or is delayed,” or “Will the bus I board arrive at my destination on time?
So far, this function has been added to Toei Bus in February 2021, Yokohama City Bus and Seibu Bus in December 2022, and Kannanaka Bus and Enoden Bus in May 2023. The company plans to gradually expand the service area in the future.
