JR Hokkaido and FDA (Fuji Dream Airlines) will release “FDA Higashi Hokkaido Free Pass” and “FDA Kita Hokkaido Free Pass” as tie-up products. Sales will run from June 16 to September 30, and can be purchased until October 1, when they will be available for use.
The “FDA East-Hokkaido Free Pass” allows unlimited travel on limited express and local trains (including rapid trains) within the free area, mainly in the East Hokkaido area (Kushiro, Nemuro, Obihiro, Abashiri, etc.). The validity period is 4 days from the day of purchase or the next day, and the fare is 17,380 yen for adults and 9,190 yen for children.
The “FDA Kita Hokkaido Free Pass” covers the northern Hokkaido area (Wakkanai, Asahikawa, Furano, Biei, etc.). The pass is valid for three days from the day of purchase or the following day, and costs 14,150 yen for adults and 7,570 yen for children.
Both sets also come with a 1,000 yen “FDA use coupon” worth 1,000 yen that can be used for shopping, including FDA goods, at Amuseum Shop Flyers, an airplane goods specialty store located on the 4th floor of the New Chitose Airport Domestic Terminal. A special U25 program is also available for passengers aged 12-25, which allows them to purchase a free pass at a discount.
