Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group, Sumitomo Mitsui Card, Culture Convenience Club (CCC), and CCCMK Holdings announced that they will launch a new “V-points” service in spring 2024, integrating SMBC Group’s “V-points” and CCC Group’s “T-points.
As a common point service that can be accumulated and used in more life situations than ever before, the company aims to create “points that everyone can use” that are not tied to a specific economic sphere.
For example, by presenting your T-Card/Mobile T-Card at one of the approximately 150,000 T-Point partners nationwide, you can earn V-Points even when paying with cash.
In addition, the savings are also earned through the use of SMCC-issued credit cards and Olive Flexible Pay at credit card merchants worldwide, including Visa, as well as SMBC, SMBC Nikko Securities, SMBC Consumer Finance, SBI Securities, and other credit card merchants.
Accumulated V-points can be paid for as 1 point = 1 yen. As with the existing V-points application, the T-points application will also be equipped with a payment function that allows users to use their accumulated points for payment at Visa member stores, creating a highly convenient service that requires only a single application.
To commemorate the announcement of V-Points, a campaign will be held from June 13 to July 31, offering 500 yen worth of rewards for those who fulfill the conditions of the campaign.
