Seoul Tourism Promo Event at Tokyo Port City Takeshiba, June 24-25, featuring live performances by BTOB/AB6IX/Kwon Eun Bi/CLASS:y and others

The Seoul Metropolitan Government and the Seoul Tourism Foundation will hold a tourism promotion event, “2023 Seoul Edition in Tokyo,” at Tokyo Port City Takeshiba on June 24-25.

The lineup of contents was designed to allow visitors to enjoy the latest lifestyle in Seoul. The K-idol fashion show, utilizing stage costumes of idols by generation, will start with the first generation such as “BoA” and “SHINHWA,” followed by the second generation “Tohoshinki,” the third generation “BTS” and “BLACKPINK,” the fourth generation “NewJeans” and “Stray Kids,” and other generation-specific The K-Pop concert “Seoul Edition Live” will feature “BTOB,” “AB6IX,” “Kwon Eun Bi,” and “CLASS:y.” The show will combine stage costumes and performances by famous groups. The event is free for everyone to attend, but those who wish to attend the stage must apply in advance. The application period is from 10:00 on June 10 to 23:59 on June 16, and the 1,600 winners will be able to watch the stage.

From 1:00 p.m. on the day of the event, a lifestyle showcase will be held to enjoy the “Seoul tourism mood. Visitors can participate in a variety of hands-on events at concept booths set up in the venue lobby that recreate the popular spots of “Sungsu,” “Hongdae,” “Euljiro,” and “Gangnam.

At the “Sungsu” concept booth, which is attracting attention as a new mecca for K-beauty, visitors can get a personal color diagnosis to create a lip gloss that suits them. At the “Hongdae” booth, visitors can vote for their favorite song and enjoy a one-coin karaoke session. At the “Ochujiro” booth, actual soul food is offered along with gourmet ASMR. At the “Gangnam” booth, visitors can take four purikura (purikura photo) shots at a photo zone based on the concept of “feeling like a tourist in Seoul. These participants will receive a BTS poster, shopping bag, picnic set, etc.
