As a shared office business “STATION WORK,” JR East is expanding its network throughout Japan by developing the private booth “STATION BOOTH” and partnering with co-working spaces and hotel shared offices.
With the addition of the two coworking facilities that began partnering on June 15, “STATIO WORK” is now available at all Shinkansen stations in 46 prefectures in Japan and in the JR East area. The network now consists of 815 locations nationwide, and the company aims to expand to 1,000 locations by the end of this fiscal year.
The newly added partner facilities are “Craft Bridge” in Fukui Prefecture and “MG YOKKAICHI Living” in Mie Prefecture. Up until now, “STATION BOOTH” has been available at major stations in the Tokyo metropolitan area and suburbs, but the new “STATION BOOTH Light” and “STATION BOOTH Air” will further enhance the convenience of the service. Including partnerships with coworking facilities, STATION WORK is available at all Shinkansen stations in the JR East area.
