JR East will reopen the 2nd floor of the Tokyo Station Grand Roof as “GRANROOF GARDEN” on July 1.
A public space where anyone can comfortably spend time is created by adding tables and counters with power supply in an outdoor space full of greenery.
The building aims to be a new hub that responds to diversifying lifestyles and new ways of working by taking advantage of its convenient location directly connected to the station, the openness of the 234-meter-long pedestrian deck, and the progressive nature of the Yaesu area.
On July 10, JR East Cross Station also changed the name of the commercial area on the first to third floors below ground in the Grand Roof and the Grand Roof Front on the first basement floor to “Gransta Yaesu”.
On the second floor where GRANROOF GARDEN will be maintained, a new wood-fired Italian restaurant, Osteria IL VIAGGIO, will be opened.
