Hilton Okinawa Miyakojima Resort opens June 18. Total of 329 rooms with beautiful Miyako blue ocean and evening views.

Posted on 2023-06-25 by Editor in Chief

Hilton Japan, Korea and Micronesia District will open the Hilton Okinawa Miyakojima Resort (550-7 Hirara Kugai, Miyakojima City, Okinawa Prefecture) on June 18.

This is the first beach resort hotel developed by Mitsubishi Estate and Kajima Corporation, and Hilton’s first foray into the remote islands of Okinawa Prefecture.

The hotel is located in the Tulliver area of Miyako Island, about 15 minutes by car from Miyako Airport, where you can enjoy the rich nature of the coral reef sea and mangrove forests. The hotel is adjacent to Miyako Sunset Beach, where guests can enjoy a spectacular view of the sunset over the Miyako blue ocean and the Irabu Bridge.

The eight-story building is decorated with many artworks inspired by Miyako Island, and all 329 guest rooms have private balconies. The hotel offers mainly twin rooms, as well as executive rooms and suites with services available in a private lounge.

Food and beverage services will be provided at four locations: an open-air all-day dining room, a signature restaurant where you can casually enjoy authentic Italian cuisine, a rooftop bar, and the lobby lounge.

Other facilities include a spa, fitness center, kids club, indoor and outdoor pools, and chapel.
