Sumitomo Fudosan Villa Fontaine and B.I.G. will conduct a joint demonstration project “TOKYO DOG TRANSPORT,” offering free transportation by a bus exclusively for pet dogs. The program will run from Thursdays through Mondays between July 1 and December 25.
This is an initiative to combine “inumo Shiba Koen by Villa Fontaine,” a hotel for dogs operated by Sumitomo Fudosan Villa Fontaine, and a dog-dedicated bus developed by B・I・G. The schedule of the buses will run from 10:00 to 16:00, visiting the hotel, Haneda Airport, Odaiba, Tokyo Station, and Ginza in turn. The schedule is from 10:00 to 16:00.
The bus has a 125cm pitch, twice the usual size, to provide seating space for large dogs, and each seat is equipped with a roll screen to make it a private room. The floor is wood-grained to prevent dogs from slipping, and the seats are waterproof, odor-resistant, and antibacterial. In addition, two plasmaclusters are installed in the cabin air-conditioning system.
This service is available to inumo Shiba Koen guests (during their stay, including the day of check-in and check-out) and Club Villa Fontaine members (free registration). Reservations must be made by phone (03-6809-2460) by 12:00 pm the day before.
