Tokyu Corporation announced that the name of the New Tsunashima Station Area Type 1 Urban Redevelopment Project has been decided as “New Tsunashima Square. This facility is directly connected to the station, integrating residential, public utility, and commercial facilities.
The entire facility will consist of two buildings, a low-rise building and a high-rise building. The first three floors of the low-rise building will house commercial facilities, and the fourth and fifth floors will house Mizuki Hall, a cultural center for residents of Kohoku Ward, Yokohama City. Mizuki Hall will have a 400-seat hall, gallery, music rooms, and practice rooms. The high-rise building will house the Dresset Tower Shin Tsunashima, a condominium with 29 floors above ground and one below, with a total of 252 units, some of which will be commercial facilities.
The commercial portion will open sequentially in the winter of 2023, and Mizuki Hall is scheduled to open in March 2024.
