JTB Publishing will release “Timetable Reprint March 1985” (2,310 yen) on June 21.

The “Kotsu Kosha no Timetable” supervised by Japan National Railways, the predecessor of the monthly “JTB Timetable” magazine. This 9th reprint of the JTB timetable features the March 1985 timetable revision issue, which marked the beginning of the nationwide high-speed network, with the Tohoku and Joetsu Shinkansen bullet trains coming into Tokyo and speeding up the conventional lines as well.

At the front of the magazine, Yoshio Kimura, former editor-in-chief of “JTB Timetable” and now a railroad writer, explains the points of interest in the magazine. The cover of the magazine is attached to the front cover, making it easy to keep as a reference.
