Nishi Tokyo Bus will begin operating the “Tokyo/Shinjuku/Yokohama to Takamatsu/Marugame Route” overnight express bus service to Tokyo Station. The buses departing from Tokyo Station will be in operation from July 19, and those departing from Takamatsu/Marugame from July 20.

The bus will be able to use the Yaesu South Exit of Tokyo Station as a new boarding location and the Nihonbashi Exit as a new drop-off location. The buses will no longer use the stops at Keio-Hachioji Station, JR Hachioji Station North Exit, Chuodo Hino, Chuodo Fuchu, Chuodo Jindaiji, and Chuodo Mitaka, which were operated on the previous route. In the case of the Shikoku Express Bus service, the Shinjuku Express Bus Terminal will be the first and last stop for the jointly operated Shikoku Express Bus service.

Fares range from 8,900 yen to 11,400 yen for adults from Tokyo on the route from Kosoku-Hikita to Takamatsu Station Express Bus Terminal, and from 9,400 yen to 11,600 yen for adults on the route from Sakaide Station to Marugame Station. An early-bird discount of 3,000 yen is available for reservations made 14 days or more in advance, and 2,000 yen for reservations made 5 days or more in advance.

The bus has a total of 28 seats in three rows of independent seating, and is equipped with a toilet, seat partition curtains, USB power ports or electrical outlets, and on-board Wi-Fi. Reservations can be made one month prior to boarding by calling the reservation website “highwaybus.com” or by phone from 9:00 a.m. on the same day.
