Shin-Yokohama Prince Hotel (3-4 Shin-Yokohama, Kohoku-ku, Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture) will launch “Shinkansen Art Sweets Stay,” an accommodation plan offering a diorama-style sweets plate in a train-view room. The plan is available from September 1 to October 31, and reservations will be accepted from July 3.
The Shin-Yokohama Prince Hotel offers a spectacular 360-degree view of Tokyo, Yokohama, and Mt. Fuji from its 150-meter-high floors above ground, and you can watch the Shinkansen bullet trains departing and arriving right in front of you.
In this plan, the pastry chef’s special sweets are a chocolate reproduction of the Shinkansen N700 Series Type A running against the backdrop of Mt. The gravel (ballast) and tracks are all made of edible cookies, chocolates, and baked goods, allowing guests to relax in their rooms and enjoy an artistic dish that is typical of the autumn season.
The plan rate for double occupancy is 14,250 yen per person per night (reservation required at least 3 days in advance).
