Enjoy summer in Harajuku at “Chilled UNIQLO. Giant fan towers and cool saunas are now available! Logo in AIRism blue for the first time ever “AIRism COOL SHARE” to be held from July 6.

UNIQLO will hold “AIRism COOL SHARE” at its Harajuku store (1-14-30 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo), a cool-share spot where people can enjoy saving electricity and share the coolness of summer under the concept of “Cool UNIQLO. The event will run for nine days from today, July 6, to July 14.

The red logo on the storefront across from Harajuku Station is now airlism blue for the first time ever, and an “electric fan tower” has appeared in the Special Room on the first basement floor. When electricity is generated by pedaling a bicycle, the fans piled up in the tower start spinning at once. A curtain made of air-rhythm fabric and a wind chime will also be available for a cooler atmosphere.

The store is equipped with a “chilled sauna” consisting of sauna-like benches covered with AIRYTHYTHM contact-cooling cushions. Visitors can enjoy shopping in comfort while being cooled by “cold wave masters” who blow dry ice in the air.

During the event, a limited number of original fans will be distributed and original shaved ice (500 yen) will be sold.

Hiroaki Sadaibao, manager of UNIQLO’s Harajuku store, said, “This summer is expected to be hotter than usual, and electricity bills are rising. Since AIRISYTHM is an item that cools you down when you wear it, I think just one piece will make your daily life more comfortable, whether you are traveling or shopping. For men, I recommend the AIRHYTHM mesh T-shirt with deodorant function, and for women, I recommend the AIRHYTHM camisole for smoothness”.

AIRism COOL SHARE” is scheduled to be available at some stores nationwide in the future.
