Gakuroku Suien” (20-1 Funatsu, Fujikawaguchiko-machi, Minamitsuru-gun, Yamanashi) will open on September 30. Reservations will be accepted from August 30, with rates starting at 300,000 yen (tax not included) for a private party.
The building, which was split off from the Ide main family (Ide Brewery) 204 years ago, consists of the main building, which is registered as a tangible cultural property by the Agency for Cultural Affairs, and the Nagayamon gate, which is designated as a tangible cultural property by the town of Fujikawaguchiko. Visitors can appreciate artifacts inherited from the Ide family and experience the fusion of historical architectural space and modern art.
Designed and produced by Noriko Sawayama, president of the Curation Hotel Association, the hotel has been redesigned as an accommodation facility that harmonizes traditional Japanese architecture with world-class design.
The first floor has a Japanese-style room, living/dining room, kitchen, and bathroom; the second floor has three bedrooms, and the living/dining room offers regional specialties. Breakfast options at the bakery store “Pain Daniel”, buffet (breakfast and dinner), and the French restaurant “PREMIER” are also available.
Other activities include experiencing Japanese culture in the Japanese-style room area and an original tour with a guide of Mt.
